The Roman Catholic branch church of St. Michael in Schweinbach , a district of the Lower Bavarian district capital Landshut , was built around 1775 in the rural late baroque style. Actually, that is Landshut monument due to its location east of the pig creek on the territory of the parish Auloh and the Diocese of Regensburg , but the pastoral responsibility was contracted several years ago to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Munich and Freising belonging Parish of St. Peter and Paul in eastern Landshut core city transferred.

The east- facing hall building is kept simple on the outside and is essentially only structured by the round-arched window openings. At the vertex of the slightly retracted chorus , which in three sides of the hexagon is closed, which closes Sakristei on. On the opposite is the protruding west tower , which merges into the octagon above the roof ridge - mediated by a cantilevered cornice . The top is a pointed helmet over four dainty triangular gables . The interior, which is also kept simple for contemporary tastes, has around sixty seats and is vaulted by a spear cap barrel. In the nave there is a ceiling painting in a stucco frame , on which the church patron Michael is shown (memorial day: September 29th). The main picture of the dainty rococo altar shows the church patron Michael fighting against Lucifer . On the chancel arch a Rosary Madonna is attached.
