An old picture shows the small church as a defiant fortified church with a mighty watchtower , in 1533 the building is called a chapel . The current shape of the late Romanesque hall church with choir tower is the result of a renovation in 1681, the Baroque transformation in 1711 and the renovation in 1888. The nave is covered with a slate roof . The top floor of the tower, also covered with slate, has arched sound arcades , behind which 2 church bells hang in the belfry , the younger one dates from 1948. The tower is covered with a pyramid roof on which a pointed helmet sits. The interior has two-storey galleries and is covered with a flat ceiling. The choir has been covered by a cross vault imitated in wood since 1927 . For church facilities of 1678 has a small altar in forms of Renaissance , in Altarretabel with the Supper of Jesus , further comprising a cockpit with images of the four evangelists and a font . In the old organ prospectus from around 1670 there is now an Ahlborn organ .
