The Lahti Stadium ( Finnish Lahden Stadium ) is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Finnish city ​​of Lahti . It is mainly used as a venue for FC Lahti .

history

The stadium, built in 1981 and renovated in 2003, is part of the Lahti Sports Center ( Lahden Urheilukeskus ). The stadium has space for 14,465 spectators. 7,465 of these are seated and 7,000 are standing.

From July 28th to August 8th, 2009 the XVIII. Senior Athletics World Championships took place in which around 5,300 senior athletes took part.
