Stadsregiorail

Stadsregiorail (previously StadsRegioRail KAN ) was a local transport infrastructure project in the area of public transport in the former Stadsregio Arnhem-Nijmegen in the Dutch province of Gelderland . The aim of the project was to improve the connection in local public transport by increasing the number and frequency of railway lines and building new stations. The Plusregio worked together with the province of Gelderland, the municipalities, ProRail , NS and the Ministry of Infrastructures and Waterstaat . With the dissolution of the Plusregio on January 1, 2015, the Stadsregiorail program was also ended.
