Stefan Gorski

Stefan Gorski (born July 19, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

From 2012 Stefan Gorski studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna , graduating in 2016. He received role lessons from Markus Meyer and Grazyna Dylag.

In 2012 he was seen in the title role at the Neue Bühne Villach in Der Junge Hitler von Franzobel, in 2014 he played the role of Orestes in Elektra at the Tribüne Vienna. As part of the 2014 Nestroy Theater Prize , he was nominated in the Best Young Talent category for his portrayal of Gavrilo Princip in 1914 - Two Paths to Downfall by Nicolaus Hagg at the Reichenau Festival, where he also performed in John Gabriel Borkman by Henrik Ibsen in 2015 as the banker's son Erhart Borkman and in 2016 in The Cat on a Hot Tin Rooffrom Tennessee Williams played the role of Brick. Also in 2016 he played the role of Nepomuk Elm in the world premiere of Totes Gebirge by Thomas Arzt at the Theater in der Josefstadt .

At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, Artistic Director Wilfried Schulz brought him to the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , where he has been permanently engaged since then and among others as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet , as Mephisto in Faust (to go) , as John Hale in witch hunt , as Ben in the Bowie musical Lazarus , as Baron von Gaigern in people in the hotel and as Damis in Tartuffe .

His second mother tongue is Polish , his parents originally come from Zakopane and moved to Vienna in the mid- 1980s .
