Stefani Popova denied their first international race in 2010 in Martell in the IBU Cup and did not finish her first single and was below Sprint 72. In Bansko it reached in the course of the season a ninth place in a sprint race and their best ever placing in the second highest racing series in international biathlon sport. The first international championships were the Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě , where she was 59th of the individual, 30th of the sprint, 44th of the pursuit and sixth of the relay race with Nija Dimitrova and Dessislawa Stojanowa . This was followed by the junior races of the European Championships 2011 in Ridnaun , where she was 30th in the individual, 36th in the sprint and 25th in the pursuit. In the further course of the year Popowa also took part in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě and came in 26th place in the sprint and won the bronze medal with the mixed relay of Bulgaria with Nija Dimitrova, Ivan Slatew and Anton Sinapov. In 2012 Popowa first started in the junior races of the European Championships 2012 in Osrblie , where she finished 33rd in the individual and 48th in the sprint. She was lapped in the pursuit race. The next big event for the Bulgarian was the Junior World Championships 2012 in Kontiolahti . Popowa reached 62nd in the individual, was 38th in the sprint, 22nd in the pursuit and 15th in the pursuit. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season she started for the first time in Östersund in the World Cup , where she was 100th of the individual and in the sprint came 91st for the first time, achieving a double-digit placement. In Antholz she was able to achieve her best position in the World Cup so far, finishing 79th in a sprint. In Obertilliach she started in 2013 for the third time at a Junior World Championship and came in 35th place in the individual, was 57th in the sprint, 50th in the pursuit and Nija Dimitrova and Dessislawa Stojanowa sixth in the relay. The 2013 World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě followed. In the individual she was 91st and with Emilija Jordanowa , Nija Dimitrowa and Dessislawa Stojanowa in the relay race as the final runner of the lapped Bulgarian relay 18.
