Steffen Jabin (born November 6, 1982 in Leipzig ) is a German summer biathlete in the cross-country style.

Steffen Jabin lives with his wife in Erfurt . He starts for SV Eintracht Frankenhain and trains himself with the support of D. Hermann (running) and Horst Koschka (shooting). At the 2004 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie , he finished 13th in the sprint and 22nd in the pursuit and mass start. With the relay he was seventh as well as a year later at the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2005 in Bystřice pod Hostýnem in the Czech Republic . In 2008 Jabin won the overall ranking of the IBU Cup. He finished the 2008 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute-Maurienne in ninth place in the sprint and 14th in the pursuit. At the German Summer Championships in 2008, he won the sprint competition. At the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2009 in Oberhof , Jabin reached 27th place in the sprint and 24th in the subsequent pursuit. In 2010 he finished 22nd in the sprint and 19th in the pursuit at the European Championships in Osrblie . At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell , Jabin achieved his best result at a major international event with sixth place in the sprint. In the pursuit race he was eleventh and with Judith Wagner , Thordis Arnold and Marcel Bräutigam he missed a medal in the relay mixed race in fourth place.
