Steffen Landgraf

Steffen Landgraf (born August 26, 1980 in Berlin ) is a former German long jumper and decathlete and works as a doctor of psychology in the field of forensic psychiatry and cognitive psychology .

Steffen Landgraf started for LG Nike Berlin from 1998 to 2004 .

On June 4, 2001, he achieved his best long jump performance of 7.84 m in Wesel .

Steffen Landgraf was trained by Klaus Beer , Olympic silver medalist in the 1968 long jump in Mexico City , and Rainer Pottel , Olympic participant in the 1980 decathlon in Moscow .

From 2001 to 2004 Steffen Landgraf started for the track and field team at the University of Minnesota , with which he won the 2003 "Outdoor Big Ten Championships" . His coaches in Minnesota were Phil Lundin and Mario Sategna .

In 2004 Steffen Landgraf ended his active career as a track and field athlete and now works as a volunteer sports group leader for LG Telis Finanz Regensburg .

Steffen Landgraf is the son of Monika Zehrt , the German athletics double Olympic champion over 400 meters and 4 times 400 meters from 1972 in Munich .

Professional career

Steffen Landgraf studied psychology and Spanish at the University of Minnesota, USA from 2001 to 2004. He received a Bachelor of Arts there . From 2004 to 2007 he studied psychology in the diploma course at the Humboldt University in Berlin .

In 2010 he completed his doctorate with binational supervision at the Sorbonne University in Paris and the Humboldt University in Berlin under the direction of Marie-Odile Krebs and Elke van der Meer with summa cum laude. Three years later, at the age of 33, he completed his habilitation at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He is the author of several English-language scientific articles.

Steffen Landgraf has been working in the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University of Regensburg in the Regensburg District Hospital since 2012 .
