The Steinach is a 15 km long river in Franconia . The Steinach flows predominantly in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Central Franconia ; it flows into the Aisch from the left to the south-east, south-east of Gutenstetten

The Steinach rises at approx. 375 m above sea level. NHN on the Bible tendrils , northwest of the town of Kornhöftstadt . It then flows in a south-easterly direction through the town of Kornhöfstadt, south of the NEA 12 district road. After a few kilometers, the Steinach passes the town of Frankfurt. The river, which continues to run in a south-easterly direction, then crosses the towns of Lachheim and Obersteinbach. To the east of Mittelsteinach, the Grundgraben and Lehenwaldgraben streams flow into the Steinach. In Gutenstetten, the river runs through the retention basin and then flows into the Aisch from the left.
