action

Michael Harding attended military school for a year. When he returns home, his mother Susan has met a new man: David Harris is said to be his stepfather. On the outside, David looks like the perfect new father and husband, but Michael is the only one who has a bad feeling - he doesn't trust him.

Along with his girlfriend Kelly and real father Jay, Michael searches David's past for clues. Two of Susan's friends are also investigating. Little by little, David's terrible story emerges - he had already killed several families, only to then start a new existence in a new town under a new name.

When several people around him are killed, Michael understands that his future stepfather is after him. When he finds the body of his real father in the basement, he does everything in his power to save himself, his family and his girlfriend before they become the next victims. At the end of the fight, David pulls Michael off the roof and they both lie unconscious on the ground.

When Michael wakes up from a month-long coma, he learns from his girlfriend and mother that David managed to escape before the police arrived. In the last scene you see him addressing a divorced woman and her children with a new name and job.
