Stranger Than Fiction was released in 1994 and is the last Bad Religion album with Brett Gurewitz (before The Process of Belief ) and the first release on the Atlantic Records label . Experiments with country or folk elements were postponed in favor of fast and melodic punk rock , possibly in response to the emerging allegation of the band's sell-out after the move to Atlantic Records. Infected and a new edition of the song 21st Century (Digital Boy), which can already be heard on Against The Grain , were released as singles . Guest appearances by Tim Armstrong of Rancid on Television and Jim Lindberg of Pennywise in Marked will also be heard.
