Sukhipur ( Nepali सुखिपुर ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Siraha district .
The city was created in September 2015 by merging the Village Development Committees Belhi , Kabilasi , Kushahalakshminiya , Mohanpur Kamalpur , Silorba Pachhawari , Sukhipur and Vidhyanagar . The urban area covers 54.7 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Sukhipur had 36,883 inhabitants (23,353 of them male) in 9,231 households.
