The Sook ( mal. Sungai Sook ) or Sook River is a river in the Malaysian state of Sabah on Borneo . It rises in the mountain region of the Trus Madi Range in the interior of Sabah and flows into the Sungai Pegalan near Keningau . The Sook with its tributaries drains an area of ​​1684 km².

The Sungai Sook is the central drainage system for the Sook plateau. 22% of the water volume of the Sungai Pada comes from the catchment area of ​​the Sungai Sook, which flows to the Padas via the Sungai Pegalan. The river mainly flows through formerly lacustrine , alluvial sediments.
