Supawan Thipat (born February 20, 1994 in Surat Thani ) is a Thai sprinter .

Athletic career

Supawan Thipat gained her first experience in international competitions at the Junior Asian Championships 2010 in Hanoi , where she was eliminated in the first round of the 200-meter run . The following year, she took part in the World Youth Championships near Lille , where she was eliminated over 100 and 200 meters in the run. In 2013 she took part in the Thai 4 x 100 meter relay for the first time at the Summer Universiade in Kazan , where she finished sixth in the final in 46.66 seconds. Two years later she won the bronze medal with the relay at the Asian Championships in Wuhan in 44.73 s, later won the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore and won the bronze medal at the Student World Games in Gwangju, South Korea .

In 2017 she finished fourth in the 100-meter run in 11.83 s at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur and won the silver medal behind the team from Vietnam in 44.62 s with the relay. Two days later, she retired with the season at the Summer Universiade in Taipei in the first round. A few weeks later she retired over 60 meters at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat in the first round. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and took fourth place there with the Thai relay. In the following year, she finished eighth in the 100-meter run at the Asian Championships with a new best performance of 11.64 s and was fifth in the relay in 43.99 s. Then they came for the World Relay in Yokohama in 44.24 s not up to the finals and was eliminated in the World Student Games in Naples with 11.92 s in advance and was in the relay in 45.23 s Sixth. In December she reached fourth place in the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 11.74 s and won the gold medal with the relay in 44.38 s.

Thipat graduated from the Institute of Physical Education Chumphon .
