Jordi Mboula Queralt (born March 16, 1999 in Granollers ) is a Spanish football player who is currently under contract with the French club AS Monaco .
Career
Mboula learned to play football in the youth of FC Barcelona . However, he began his professional career in 2018 at AS Monaco. Mboula made his competitive debut for the first team in Ligue 1 on April 28, 2018 against SC Amiens . On May 19, 2018, he scored his first competitive goal in professional football in a 3-0 win in the away game against Troyes.
After a groin injury in November 2018, he was no longer in the AS Monaco squad after his recovery. For the 2019/20 season he was loaned to the Belgian club Cercle Bruges . There he played seven league games until October 2019. After that he was no longer part of the matchday squad.
At the end of January 2020, the early cancellation of the loan was agreed. Mboula was then loaned to SD Huesca in the Segunda División , the Spanish second division, with no purchase option for the remainder of the season .
