Jemerson de Jesus Nascimento (born August 24, 1992 in Jeremoabo , Bahia ), Jemerson for short , is a Brazilian soccer player . The central defender and two-time senior international is under contract with AS Monaco .

Career

Jemerson moved from AD Confiança to the youth department of Atlético Mineiro in 2010 . After he was loaned to Democrata FC from January to the end of July 2012 , he moved up to Mineiro's first team for the 2013 season . Jemerson made five appearances in his first season and 22 appearances in the 2014 season . In the 2015 season, Jemerson played 35 times and scored four goals.

After the season was AS Monaco noticed him and signed him in January 2016. On March 20, 2016 debuted at Jemerson 2: 0 away win against Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 . In the 2016/17 season , Jemerson won the French championship with Monaco .

National team
