Pietro Pellegri (born March 17, 2001 in Genoa ) is an Italian football player .

Career

society

Pellegri started his career at CFC Genoa . He made his debut for the Genoa professionals on December 22, 2016, when he came on as a substitute for Tomás Rincón in the 88th minute against FC Turin on matchday 18 of the 2016/17 season . He equaled that of Amedeo Amadei record set as the youngest player in the Serie A .

On September 17, 2017, Pellgri scored both goals for CFC Genoa in their 3-2 defeat against Lazio Rome and thus became the youngest double scorer in Serie A.

In January 2018 he moved to Ligue 1 for AS Monaco for 25 million euros, the previous record amount for a U17 player .

National team

Pellegri made his debut for the Italian U-15 selection in March 2015 . In October of the same year, he finally made his debut in the U-16 team . In August 2016 he made his debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina for the U-17 team .

In September 2018 Pellegri was by Roberto Mancini in the squad of the senior national team for the Nations League -Partien against Poland and Portugal called, but traveled through injury again. He has not been nominated again since then.
