Susanne Koerber
Susanne Christa Körber-Harlan (born June 17, 1932 in Berlin ; † January 3, 1989 ; occasionally also Susanne Körber-Harlan or Susanne Christa Körber ) was a German actress .
Life
Susanne Körber was born as the daughter of the actor and director Veit Harlan and Hilde Körber , who also works as an actress . After attending elementary school and a lyceum , she received private acting lessons with Marlise Ludwig and the Hebbel Theater in Berlin.
Susanne Körber made her first appearance in a film production in 1950 . In the feature film Drei Mädchen spinnen by Carl Froelich with Albrecht Schönhals , Axel von Ambesser and Georg Thomalla , she was seen at the side of her sister Maria Körber and in 1951, directed by her father, she played in Hanna Amon with Kristina Söderbaum , Lutz Moik and Use Steppat . Some more film work followed. Among them was the participation in The great temptation by Rolf Hansen with Dieter Borsche , Ruth Leuwerik and Erich Ponto and in 1960 in the adaptation of Stefan Zweig's chess novella by Gerd Oswald with Curd Jürgens , Claire Bloom and Hans-Jörg Felmy .
In 1952, Susanne Körber also worked as a speaker in a radio play production for Hessischer Rundfunk . In Raoul Ploquins Without An Address , she played the main role of Thérèse , directed by Ulrich Lauterbach, alongside Heinz Schimmelpfennig , Boy Gobert and Hilde Nocker .
In 1967 Susanne Körber received her doctorate with the text About some descendants of the M. sphincter marsupii in dogs . The daughter Jessica Jacoby (* 1954) comes from her marriage to the photographer Claude Jacoby (1916–1964). Susanne Körber committed 1989 suicide . She was buried at the Dahlem forest cemetery in Berlin next to her mother and sister Maria Körber . (Dept. 20 B 2)
