Susanne Menzel (singer)

Susanne Menzel (* 1974 in Bremen ) is a German jazz singer .

Menzel completed a vocal degree at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden and the Capital University in Columbus (Ohio) . In 2001 she moved to Oldenburg, where she worked as an artistic assistant for “vocal training” at the Institute for Music at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg . She worked and toured regularly with Klaus Ignatzek , but also with Claudio Roditi , Dick de Graaf and Gustavo Bergalli . Since 2006 she has released albums with Ignatzek. With the Bremen Philharmonic Strings she presented songs by George Gershwin and Lennon / McCartney .
