Susanne Steiger (born October 9, 1982 in Aachen ) is a German jeweler , businesswoman , equestrian and trader in the TV series Bares for Rares .

Life

Steiger is a trained tax professional hostess and since 2015 Diamond Graders ( English diamond appraiser ) of "HRD Antwerp" certified. It has two shops for buying and selling jewelry in Kerpen (since 2007) and Bornheim (since 2012). Here she also offers her own creations, which are handcrafted by her employed master goldsmith. Together with the art agent Christian-Frederik Plötz, Steiger discovered in January 2016 in a private household in Bonn the painting Tulip Sommerschön by the painter Balthasar van der Ast, believed to have been lost since the mid-1980s after an exhibition in Münster . The picture from 1625 shows a still life with a tulip, butterfly and bow tie and was auctioned in December 2016 at Christie's auction house in London for 785,000 euros.
