Suzana Lazović (born January 28, 1992 in Titograd , Yugoslavia ) is a former Montenegrin handball player who currently works as a handball trainer.

Career

Lazović has been playing for the Montenegrin first division club ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica since 2004 , with whom she won the Montenegrin Championship and the Montenegrin Cup every year between 2008 and 2017. Internationally, the cyclist won the European Cup Winners' Cup with Budućnost in 2010 and the EHF Champions League in 2012 and 2015 . Lazović had to forego participation in the Final Four of the EHF Champions League 2016/17 due to problems with her cervical spine . After Lazović was operated on, she was initially announced to return in November 2017, but ultimately had to end her career.

Lazović won the bronze medal at the U20 World Cup in 2010. She belonged to the squad of the Montenegrin national team . With Montenegro she took part in the 2011 World Cup. In the summer of 2012, Lazović took part in the Olympic Games in London with Montenegro , where she won the silver medal. In the same year she won the European Championship with Montenegro . She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .

Lazović trains the Montenegrin junior national team.
