Tadeusz Wojda SAC (born January 29, 1957 in Kowala ) is a Polish religious and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Białystok .

Life

In 1977 he joined the Pallottine Order . On May 8, 1983 Wojda received in Ołtarzew the ordination by the Warsaw Bishop Wladyslaw Miziołek . In 1989, he received his doctorate from the Pontifical Gregorian University for Doctor of Missiology .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on July 24, 2012 as Undersecretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .

On April 12, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Białystok. The episcopal ordination donated him to the Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, Fernando Filoni , on June 10 the same year. Co- consecrators were his predecessor Edward Ozorowski and the Bishop of Warsaw Praga , Henryk Hoser SAC .

On March 29, 2020, Wojda said during a mass in the Cathedral of Bialystok that he himself and the other participants stink of sin, including the sin of pedophilia, homosexuality and the sin of LGBT.
