Tami Lane

Tami Lynn Lane (* 1974 in Illinois ) is an American makeup artist and Oscar winner .

Life

Lane grew up in Dunlap and Peoria in Illinois and graduated in 1996 her art studies with a focus on graphic design at Bradley University from. Even then she designed the masks for local theaters. During a trip to Los Angeles with communications scientist Robert Jacobs and ten other students, including a visit to the Makeup Effects House , she met Howard Berger , co-founder of the KNB Effects Group and her future colleagues. Two weeks after graduating, she joined his company and worked there until 2000. In 2005, Lane worked with Berger on the novel The Chronicles of Narnia: The King of Narnia and was awarded an Oscar for this achievement together with Berger . She was also involved in the creative process of the Lord of the Rings films, which received a total of two Oscars for Best Make-up and Best Hairstyles .
