Tanja Hausner (* 1970 ) is an Austrian costume designer .

Life

Tanja Hausner was born as the daughter of the painter Rudolf Hausner and the painter Anne Hausner (* 1943). At the beginning of her career she was mainly responsible for the costumes in the films of her sister, the director Jessica Hausner , later, for example, a cooperation with Ulrich Seidl for the Paradise trilogy followed . At the Austrian Film Awards she was nominated for the best costume design in 2014 for The Wilhelm Reich case and in 2015 for Amour Fou . Tanja Hausner is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films and the Association of Austrian Film Outfitters (VÖF). Her half-sister is the painter Xenia Hausner .
