Tatinghem ( Flemish : Tatingem ) is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem with 1,808 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais and the region Nord-Pas-de-Calais .

Tatinghem was merged with the former municipality of Saint-Martin-au-Laërt to form Commune nouvelle Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem with effect from January 1, 2016 . It belonged to the arrondissement of Saint-Omer and the canton of Saint-Omer (until 2015: canton of Saint-Omer-Sud ).

Tatinghem is located in the metropolitan area of Saint-Omer . Tatinghem is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Salperwick in the north, Saint-Martin-au-Laërt (ndl .: "Sint Maartens Aard") in the east, Longuenesse (ndl .: "Langenesse") in the southeast, Wisques in the south, Leulinghem in the southwest as well Zudausques in the northwest.
