Tatiana Alekseyevna Arjassowa ( Russian Татьяна Алексеевна Арясова ., English transcription Tatyana Aryasova, born Хмелёва - Chmeljowa - Khmeleva / Khmelyova ; * 2. April 1979 in Baldajewo at Yadrin , Chuvashia ) is a Russian long-distance runner .

At the Summer Universiade 2001 in Beijing Arjasowa won the silver medal over 5000 m .

In 2008 she won the Los Angeles Marathon and qualified in the Russian championship as third in the 10,000 meter run for the Olympic Games in Beijing , where she came in 19th. In autumn, she finished 43rd at the World Half Marathon Championships in Rio de Janeiro .

In 2009 she was fifth in the Nagano Marathon and seventh in the Berlin Marathon . The following year she was third in the Bogotá half marathon and set a course record in the Dublin marathon with 2:26:13 h.

In 2011 she was the first to cross the finish line at the Tokyo Marathon , but was disqualified after the banned substance hydroxyethyl starch was discovered in her doping test . She was banned for two years because of this doping rule violation .
