The Osttatra (also Eastern Tatra , Polish. Tatry Wschodnie ) is a mountain range on the border between Poland and Slovakia . It is part of the Tatra Mountains , which in turn belongs to the Central Western Carpathians .

The Eastern Tatras lies east of the Western Tatras . It occupies an area of ​​approx. 400 km². Its highest peak is the Gerlach at 2655 m in the High Tatras.
