Tchimbaba Tané

Tchimbaba Tané (also: Tchimbabatan , Tchimbabatané , Tchin Babatan , Tchinbabatan ) is a village in the rural community of Garhanga in Niger .

The village, run by a traditional chief ( chef traditionnel ), is located around 32 kilometers northeast of Garhanga, the capital of the rural community of the same name, which belongs to the Keita department in the Tahoua region. The larger villages in the area include Laba , about 13 kilometers southwest , Tabofat about ten kilometers northwest and Tabotaki about 16 kilometers southeast . Tchimbaba Tané is located in the east of the Ader Doutchi mountain range . It is the capital of the 566 km² Gadamata Valley, which extends into the municipalities of Ibohamane and Keita .

At the 2012 census, Tchimbaba Tané had 5,300 inhabitants who lived in 744 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 3,571 in 516 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 2,565 in 423 households.
