Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine is an English Drone Doom - Supergroup . It was founded in Nottingham in 2000 . The name comes from the second song on the album Earth 2 .
history
In June 2000 Sunn O))) and Goatsnake toured together, where Stephen O'Malley and Justin Greaves met. They played a gig with Marvin, and later they sent practice recordings to Greg Anderson and Lee Dorrian. In late 2000 and early 2001, the band's only album to date was recorded without Marvin. The members wanted to release a "super-hard recording". Another album is not yet planned, according to Stephen O'Malley, as the members are busy with their other projects.
style
The band cites The Melvins as a musical influence.
The music is similar to that of Sunn O))) s, Greg Anderson describes it as "Sunn O))) with drums".
