The Teichbach is a tributary of the Spüligbach in southern Lower Saxony.

Surname

Early documented names were Dieke-Beeke in 1655 and Dieckbach in 1770.

The name refers to an earlier pond at the foot of the Amtsberge ( Low German dik , pond).

The reference is also used in other field names in the area such as B. Pond cliffs expressed.

course

The stream rises not far east of Denkiehausen . Then it flows between Holzberg and Amtsbergen in a westerly direction. Then it flows between Heukenberg and Amtsberge in a southerly direction, passing the border between the district of Holzminden and the district of Northeim . Then it flows into the Spüligbach near Mackensen .
