Filip Ingebrigtsen (born April 20, 1993 in Sandnes ) is a Norwegian 1500 meter runner .
Filip is the older brother of Jakob and the younger brother of Henrik Ingebrigtsen . He and his two brothers are trained by his father Gjert Ingebrigtsen. His greatest successes so far on the international competition stage were the European championship title at the European Championships 2016 in Amsterdam in 3: 46.65 min and the bronze medal (3: 34.53 min) at the World Championships 2017 in London .
At the European Championships in Berlin in 2018 , he was able to catch up a gap of 60 meters after a fall over 1500 meters and still take third place. With a broken rib as a result of the fall, he finished 12th in the final when his brother Jakob won. Four months later he won the men's title at the European Cross Country Championships in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
In 2020 Ingebrigtsen ran the 2000 meters in 4: 56.91 minutes at the Bislett Games, which were held as Impossible Games because of the Covid 19 pandemic, and set a new national record of 2: 16.46 minutes over 1000 meters.
