Telesphore education
Telesphore Bilung SVD (born April 15, 1961 in Sargidipa , Orissa , India ) is auxiliary bishop in Ranchi .
Life
Telesphore Bilung joined the Congregation of the Divine Word Missionaries in and received on 2 May 1992, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 6 May 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Rutabo and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Ranchi. The Archbishop of Ranchi, Telesphore Placidus Cardinal Toppo , donated him and Theodore Mascarenhas SFX the episcopal ordination on August 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Bombay , Cardinal Oswald Gracias , and the Apostolic Nuncio in India, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio .
On June 20, 2019, he was also appointed Apostolic Administrator of the vacant Diocese of Jamshedpur .
