Dorian Lévêque (born November 22, 1989 in Hyères ) is a French football player .

Career

The left-back Lévêque played for FC Annecy in his youth before moving to the youth department of the professional club US Boulogne . In 2009, at the age of 19, he made the leap to the professional team, which had previously been promoted to the highest French league. Then he had to wait more than half a year before he made his first division debut on February 27, 2010 in a 0-1 defeat against AS Monaco ; he was called up over the full 90 minutes of playing time. This was followed by four more games in which he was in the starting line-up, but after that he was only considered once and had to accept the relegation of his team at the end of the season.

In the summer of 2010 he moved from first division relegated Boulogne to third division club EA Guingamp . At Guingamp he immediately became the undisputed regular player and was part of a team that made it to the second division in 2011. After that, he remained seeded, but was plagued by injuries and had to pause for most of the 2012/13 season. He only managed to return to the team in April 2013 and was on the field a few more times for a team that made their promotion to the first division perfect at the end of the season. Subsequently, he had to assert himself on the left defensive position against Reynald Lemaître and therefore only played occasionally from the start. However, he was seeded as part of the first team in the 2014 national cup final , which he reached with the team. Guingamp beat the Stade Rennes 2-0, which resulted in Lévêque's first title win in his career. This also meant qualifying for the 2014/15 Europa League , in which he made his debut in international competition and survived the group phase with the team.
