José Ángel Crespo Rincón (born February 9, 1987 in Seville ) is a Spanish football player who has been under contract with PAOK Thessaloniki since July 2016 .
Career
In the club
Crespo began his career in the youth team of Sevilla FC , from where he first came to the Seville B team and later to the first team. His debut in La Liga was the defender on 21 December 2005 against Getafe . He played through, but the game ended 0-1. In the same season he made his debut in the UEFA Cup . Crespo made his debut on December 14, 2005 against Bolton Wanderers , again he played through.
In July 2010, Crespo signed with the Italian second division club Calcio Padova . After only one year at Padova, he moved to Serie A for Bologna FC , but was loaned to Hellas Verona and FC Córdoba , where Córdoba took him under contract after the loan expired. After just one month at Córdoba, Aston Villa signed the Premier League striker. Nothing was known about the transfer fee and he signed a three-year contract. In the summer of 2016, Crespo moved to Thessaloniki and PAOK FC , where he quickly became a regular and won two Greek cups. In 2018 he was runner-up with the club. In the 2018/19 season he becomes Greek champion with PAOK.
National team
Crespo was a U-21 international in his home country Spain and a substitute for Sevilla. He took part in the Junior World Cup in Canada in 2007 , where he was eliminated with Spain in the quarter-finals against the Czech Republic. He played all of the Spaniards' games and received two yellow cards.
