The Tenu is a river in France that runs in the Loire-Atlantique department in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Touvois and Corcoué-sur-Logne , first drains to the northwest, but then turns to the north and northeast, crosses the Pays de Retz landscape and flows 35 kilometers east of the Lac de Grand-Lieu , on the municipal boundary of Port-Saint-Père and Saint-Mars-de-Coutais as a left tributary into the Acheneau .
