The Roman Catholic Territorial Prelature of Aiquile ( Latin Praelatura Territorialis Aiquilensis , Spanish Prelatura de Aiquile ) is one in Bolivia situated Roman Catholic territorial prelate based in Aiquile .

history

The territorial prelature Aiquile was on December 11, 1961 by Pope John XXIII. built with the papal bull Cum Venerabilis Frater from cessions of territory of the diocese of Cochabamba and subordinated to the archbishopric Sucre as a suffragan . On July 30, 1975, the territorial prelature was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cochabamba as a suffragan.
