Terry D. Frazee

Terry D. Frazee (born before 1973) is a special effects artist .

Life

Frazee began his career in 1973 as a special effects assistant on the blaxploitation film The Son of Mandingo . In 1979 he worked for Steven Spielberg on 1941 Where Are You Going to Hollywood , 1982 on Ridley Scott's Blade Runner . This was followed by engagements in television, where he worked on the action series Hardcastle & McCormick and Hunter . In the early 1990s he was working on two films with Patrick Swayze in the lead role, Ghost and Dangerous Surf . In 1991 he began working on the Star Trek franchise with the science fiction film Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Land , which ended with Star Trek: Nemesis in 2002 after a total of five films .

2004 he worked for Gore Verbinski's Pirates film Pirates of the Caribbean together with John Knoll , Hal Hickel and Charles Gibson for the Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects nominated, but the award this year went to Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the king . Even with BAFTA Film Awards Frazee went into the category Best Visual Effects nothing.
