Tetsuya Yoroizaka (born March 20, 1990 in Hiroshima ) is a Japanese long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Tetsuya Yoroizaka gained his first international experience at the 2010 Cross Country World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where he finished 73rd in 35:48 minutes. The following year he reached at the World Cross Country Championships 2011 in Punta Umbría after 37:40 min rank 84. He was then at the Asian Championships in Kobe in 13: 54.35 min fifth in the 5000-meter run , as well as in the summer -Universiade in Shenzhen in August over 10,000 meters. In 2014, he won the bronze medal in the 3000 meter run at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou in 8: 11.73 minutes behind the two Katari Mohamed al-Garni and Abubaker Ali Kamal . The following year he qualified in the 10,000 meter run for the World Championships in Beijing , where he finished 18th in 28: 25.77 minutes . In 2019 he finished fourth at the Asian Championships in Doha in 28: 44.86 minutes.

In 2015, Yoroizaka became the Japanese champion in the 10,000 meter run.
