The Thai national futsal team represents Thailand in international futsal competitions and is subordinate to the Football Association of Thailand . The national team is one of the strongest teams in Asia, but has never been able to convince at world championships and never got past the first round. So far, Thailand has participated in the Futsal World Cup three times .

In May 2008, Thailand hosted the Asian Futsal Cup , where they reached the final. There they lost 4-0 to Iran. The supremacy in Southeast Asia was underlined again in 2009. The team won their 7th title in a row at the ASEAN Futsal Championship. In the final, hosts Vietnam were defeated 4-1.
