The project started on January 20, 2009 (the date of the 1st inauguration of Barack Obama) and ended on July 31, 2012 (opening day of the London Summer Olympics). Each week, TBCOU, the short form of the project, released a newly recorded version of an original song by the Beatles during this period. For each title there is a generally understandable essay in which aspects of the recording and the respective artist are explained. The special thing about the new versions was the fact that a ukulele is included in the arrangement of each song . Each piece was performed by a different artist and published weekly every Tuesday.

A total of 185 tracks were completely rearranged and recorded by the group The Beatles. For the entire project, in addition to the musical aspects, the aspect of philanthropy with the motto: If every citizen spent a little bit of time playing the ukulele, the world would be a nicer place is important. Following this motto, a total of ten ukuleles autographed by New York artists were given out as gifts to ten personalities around the world: Carlos Slim , Vladimir Putin , Hu Jintao , Michelle Obama , Julian Assange , Bill Gates , Oprah Winfrey , Dalai Lama , Paul McCartney , Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas .
