Production notes
The production is part of a series of historicizing adventure television series that Hannah Weinstein (1911-1984) realized in the 1950s in Great Britain, as it was not possible to produce it in the USA during the McCarthy era . After an absence of around ten years, she did not return to the States until 1962.
The exterior shots were shot on a schooner in Falmouth , the interior shots in Nettlefold Studios in Walton-on-Thames . A partial reproduction of the Falmouth prop was in the studio .
