The King of Limbs is the eighth studio album by the British band Radiohead .

It was released on February 18, 2011 as an MP3 and WAV download. A CD and an LP version followed on March 25, 2011. In addition, an extensive special edition was released, consisting of two transparent 10 "vinyls, a CD, a download (MP3 or WAV) and 625-piece artwork. The special edition was released on May 9, 2011, the download has been available since February 18, 2011.
The release was announced on February 14, 2011, four days before the album was released. The actual release date was given as February 19, 2011. However, this was brought forward by one day on February 18, 2011. On the same day the music video for Lotus Flower appeared on the band's official YouTube channel .
Remixes
Remixes of tracks from the album by Caribou , Four Tet and Nathan Fake , among others , were published on the official Radiohead website "Dead Air Space" from June to September 2011 and are available for download and 12 "vinyl via the Radiohead shop The remix album titled TKOL RMX 1234567 , which was released at the beginning of October, combines the 19 tracks from the seven remix singles on two CDs.

At laut.de , where the album was rated one day after the download appeared, the album received full points.
