The Legion of Doom

The Legion of Doom is a mashup and producer duo made up of Chad Blinman and Trever Keith .

history

Chad Blinman has been working as a musician and producer for artists such as The Get Up Kids , Saves the Day and Face to Face since the early 1990s . Trever Keith sang with the punk band Face to Face from 1991 to 2003 and produced albums for Senses Fail , Moneen and other Vagrant Records bands . After their paths crossed several times, they founded The Legion of Doom in 2004 and have been working together ever since.

The first big project was the mash-up album Incorporated , on which they mixed two songs from the field of punk , emos and hardcore punk in 14 songs and sometimes even considered a rap (for the KRS-One and Planet Asia were responsible). While the producer duo was still working on clarifying the release rights, the album was released in February 2006 on previously unknown routes into P2P networks. A regular release was not in sight at this point, as the rights holders of the mashed songs were very restrictive. On March 6, 2007, 3,000 copies were published as a digipack on the independent label Illegal Art .

The Legion of Doom often remixes horror films such as Resident Evil: Extinction , Underworld: Evolution and Saw II and continues to work as producers.
