Tann (Rhön)

Theobaldshof is a district of the town of Tann (Rhön) in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda . The place has about 290 inhabitants.

Geographical location

Theobaldshof is located in the Hessian Rhön Nature Park and the Rhön Biosphere Reserve . Tann and Dietgeshof are to the south, Schlitzenhausen and Günthers to the west and Knottenhof to the east.

The place was first mentioned under the name Thietboldeshuson in 923.

On August 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality was incorporated into the city of Tann by means of state law as part of the regional reform in Hesse .
