Theodor Christian Fachtmann

Theodor Christian Fachtmann (born January 30, 1815 in Börstel , Osnabrück district , † January 10, 1894 in Peine ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a pastor , Fachtmann studied law in Halle after attending grammar school in Börstel . During his studies in 1833 he became a member of the old Halle fraternity Germania . After his exams he went into the civil service and was appointed assessor in the Grönenberg office in 1840 , then transferred to the Lingen office in 1845, before he came to Landdrostei Osnabrück as an unskilled worker in 1849 . In 1851 he became a ministerial advisor, lecturer and later government councilor in the Hanover Ministry of Education. Transferred to the Ministry of the Interior in 1855, he was promoted to the position of the first administrative officer and as a member of the government council in Hagen in Bremen . There he founded the Amtssparkasse in 1856 . 1865-1877 he was senior administrator and from 1868 Kreishauptmann in district Osterholz . Since 1877 he was magistrate or district captain in the district Einbeck , where district from 1885 to 1886.
