Thierry Perrier

Thierry Perrier (born April 16, 1950 in Boulogne ) is a French racing driver .

Racing career

The name Thierry Perrier is closely associated with the 24 Hours of Le Mans . He competed twelve times between 1976 and 2001 in this 24-hour race in western France. On his debut, he finished 18th overall in a Porsche 911 Carrera RSR . In his last outing in 2001, he finished ninth overall in the Porsche GT3-R with partners Michel Neugarten and Nigel Smith . He achieved class victories three times, in 1980 , 1981 and 1984 .

Thierry Perrier was active in the French GT championship for many years and won the overall classification of the Challenge Endurance GT Tourisme V de V in 2015 and 2016 .
