Gianni Giudici (born March 10, 1946 in Abbiategrasso ) is an Italian racing driver .

Career

Giudici began his career in the Italian Formula 3 championship and then drove in the European Formula 3 championship . In 1982 he moved to the sports car world championship and finished 46th. In 1985 he played his first season in touring car racing in the Italian MG Metro Challenge , in which he finished tenth. In 1987 he took part in the World Touring Car Championship . In 1990 he entered the Italian touring car championship and finished 17th in the overall standings. From 1993 he competed in the DTM . First for a class 2 Alfa Romeo used by Schübel Motorsport . During the season he switched to a Class 1 Alfa Romeo, which he used with his own team. Also in the 1994 season he started with an Alfa in his own team. In 1995 he remained loyal to Alfa Romeo, but switched to the Alfa Corse team . In 1996 he drove in the now ITC championship with his own team. Initially with an Alfa Romeo, but switched to an Opel Calibra during the season. His only points during this time he collected in 1995 in the ITC. Giudici was one of the last private drivers in the DTM. After his time in the DTM, he competed in the Porsche Supercup and the STW in 1997 . In 2002 he started in the V8 Star Series and finished 18th. He then competed in various GT series, especially in the International GT Open and the FIA ​​GT4 Eurocup.
