Thomas Antonios Valiyavilayil OIC (born November 21, 1955 in Adoor ) is an Indian religious and Syro-Malankar bishop of Saint Ephrem in Khadki .

Life

Thomas Antonios Valiyavilayil joined the religious community of the Order of the Discipline of Christ and the Bishop of Battery , Cyril Baselios Malancharuvil OIC, ordained him on December 27, 1980 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 25, 2010 auxiliary bishop in Trivandrum and titular bishop of Igilgili . The episcopal ordination donated him the Major Archbishop of Trivandrum, Isaac Cleemis Thottunkal , on March 13 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Thomas Koorilos Chakkalapadickal , Archbishop of Tiruvalla , and Yoohanon Chrysostom Kalloor , Bishop of Pathanamthitta .

On March 26, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him the first Apostolic Exarch of the Apostolic Exarchate of Saint Ephrem in Khadki, which was established on the same date . With the elevation of the exarchate to the rank of an eparchy , Pope Francis appointed him its first bishop on November 23, 2019.
