Thomas "Tom" Christopher Ince (born January 30, 1992 in Stockport ) is an English football player who has been under contract with the second division Stoke City since 2018 .
Career
Liverpool FC
Thomas Ince, who came from his own youth academy, made his debut for Liverpool FC in the 2010/11 League Cup in a third round defeat against Northampton Town on September 22, 2010 . On November 1, 2010 Ince moved on loan to the English third division club Notts County . For the club coached by his father Paul Ince , he played six league games (two hits) in Football League One 2010/11 before returning to Liverpool in January 2011.
Blackpool FC
Due to the lack of prospects in Liverpool, the 19-year-old winger signed a two-year contract with second division club Blackpool on August 3, 2011 . In his first season for the team coached by Ian Holloway , Ince (33 league games / 6 goals) established himself as a regular player and reached the play-offs with Blackpool as fifth in the Football League Championship 2011/12 . After a first round success over Birmingham City, the club moved into the final against West Ham United . In front of 78,523 spectators at Wembley, Thomas Ince equalized 1: 1 in the 48th minute, before Ricardo Vaz Tê scored the winning goal for West Ham in the 87th minute.
In the 2012-13 Football League Championship scoring Ince eighteen league goals.
Crystal Palace
On January 31, 2014 Ince moved to the Premier League on loan to Crystal Palace until the end of the 2013/14 season .
Via Hull and Nottingham to Derby
For the 2014/15 season Ince moved to Hull City . On October 30, 2014, he was loaned to Nottingham Forest until December 28, 2014 , and on February 2, 2015, on loan to Derby County . Ince was finally committed to the 2015/16 season and signed a four-year contract until June 30, 2019.
Huddersfield Town
On July 4, 2017, Ince signed a three-year contract with Premier League promoted Huddersfield Town .
English national team
On September 6, 2012, he played his first international match for the U-21s in a 2-0 away win over Azerbaijan.
