Thomas J. Nagy

Thomas János Nagy (born January 3, 1963 in Klosterneuburg ) is an Austrian health scientist , systemic coach , keynote speaker , author and publisher who works as a management consultant and psychosocial advisor.

Life

Thomas J. Nagy is the son of János Nágy, a native of Hungary, who had to flee to Austria at the age of 19 during the Hungarian uprising in 1956 , where he married Augustine Bieler in 1960. Nagy has a younger brother.

After high school he was trained as a surveying technician. At the same time, he attended the external graduate school. He studied advertising at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (graduated in 1987), at the European Training Academy (today ESBA), systemic constructivist coaching (graduated in 2007) and health sciences at the Inter-University College for Health and Development in Graz (graduated in 2016). He is also an NLP Master Practitioner and learned validation from Naomi Feil .

At the age of 19 he started as a local journalist for the Niederösterreichische Nachrichten . After his military service he was secretary for public relations of the SPÖ Lower Austria in 1983/1984 . He then moved to Österreichische Länderbank , where he first completed a banking trainee program and then became press spokesman for the Länderbank (1985/86).

After graduating from the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 1987, Nagy switched to the agency side, initially to Dr. Hochegger, then to Gould, Cargill & Gray, where he worked as budget director (1988/90). As managing director of the direct marketing agency subsidiary Rapp + Collins, he worked at DDB-Needham (1991/92), after which he became managing director of Lintas Dialog (1993/94). In 1995 he founded his own advertising agency. The focus of his work was health marketing. In 2003 he began to gradually withdraw from the advertising agency business. Since then he has been working as a management consultant as well as life and social consultant .

In the summer of 2003 the TrauerWeile founded - a grief information and counseling center. As a management consultant and psychosocial life and social advisor, Nagy works as a coach in both a professional and private (psycho-social) context .

Nagy studied "Health Sciences" at the Inter-University College for Health and Development. He wrote his dissertation on the subject of role models and their effects. His research area also includes heart rate variability and its multi-professional applications.

Since 1988 Nagy has published books, CDs and films on the topics of communication , patient relations, internet marketing, football and marketing, event marketing, merchandising, information security, burn-out , corporate health management , mentoring , grief , fear , as an author, editor and publisher . Competence focus

As a lecturer, congress leader, lecturer ( Danube University Krems , FH Campus Wien , MCI Innsbruck), author and management consultant, Nagy deals with the main topics of grief, stress and burnout prevention, company health management, resilience and autogenesis . He has been interested in the psycho-social aspects of chronically ill people for around 15 years and has so far worked in the fields of diabetes , HAE ( Hereditary Anglioedema ), Alpha-1 , primary immune defects , childhood cancer and hemophilia . Personality development is conveyed primarily to schoolchildren, students and apprentices as well as managers in the context of his role model workshops.
